Our mission is to be able to provide a clear and engaging education on the basics of programming to young students, inspiring them to continue on their journey in the field of coding.
About Us
Founded in 2022, defCode() is a class that is meant to teach students skills like logic, collaboration, and, of course, programming (both theory and syntax). The first session of defCode() began on January 27, 2023, at Lincoln Elementary School. Here, Katherine Winton and Smriti Vijay, CEO and COO of defCode(), were able to help a class of students, some with and some without prior knowledge, how to code. Now, they are looking to expand defCode() so that students all around the world may learn how to code.
